Weston Planning Board votes 5-0 to endorse MBTA 3A compliance plan before town meeting

WESTON — October 2, 2025 — Weston's joint Select-Planning board working group logged a unanimous 5-0 Planning Board vote endorsing the town's MBTA 3A compliance plan and rehearsed the town meeting presentation, clocking in at 12 minutes and 47 seconds. Select Board Chair Lisa Revers and Planning Board Chair Leslie Glynn led the session, which also addressed three technical corrections required by the state's Executive Office of Housing and Livable Communities, including adjusting zone acreage for the Merriam Village district from 12.92 acres to 13.27 acres and fixing frontage standards at 751 Boston Post Road, with all changes characterized as "de minimis." Revers noted that a $260,000 Weston school grant remains withheld by the state pending compliance, and that EOHLC's enforcement stay runs only until January 1, 2026. The Planning Board's 5-0 vote was a retake of a prior 3-0 vote taken when two members were absent.
