Kendal Common committee schedules late-November session ahead of neighborhood board meeting

WESTON -- October 26, 2023, Kendal Common historic district committee pencils in Nov. 30 working session ahead of neighborhood board meeting. Committee member Rick reported on a recent neighborhood picnic that drew 20 to 25 residents and said he would seek a mid-November open meeting with the Kendal Common board of directors, likely starting at 7 or 7:30 p.m. on a weekday. Members reviewed the first batch of Massachusetts Historical Commission survey forms prepared by consultant Christine and flagged a recurring "appears to be a custom design" phrase for correction, with member David agreeing to relay the fix. "They were not part of a cookie cutter," Rick said of the mid-century modern homes. "They were designed for each spot." The committee unanimously approved overdue minutes from its March 23, May 18 and June 22 meetings and adjourned by roll-call vote.
