Weston ZBA extends 93 Concord Road hearing, citing missing floor-area data
WESTON — August 12, 2025 — Weston ZBA unanimously extends 93 Concord Road special permit hearing to September 2 over missing floor-area data and an unresolved abutter dispute. Acting Chair Stephen J. Larocque, sitting with Associate Members Laura Mintz and Tristan Colangelo, voted 3-0 Tuesday to continue the hearing after finding that applicant John Hadley's architect had submitted a Floor Area Ratio table rather than the town-required Residential Gross Floor Area calculation, which must be sealed by a licensed architect. Architect Will Chalfan of KDI Architects joined the meeting by phone and agreed to revise and stamp the dimensional table. An abutter at 91 Concord Road, who identified herself as Sheila, pressed for a certified insurance letter or cash escrow account covering potential tree damage, a formal site logistics plan, and strict Sunday work restrictions, telling the board "we want to be fair neighbors, but we want to be very clear about expectations." The board directed Hadley to formalize a written agreement with the abutter and collect additional letters from neighboring properties before the September 2 session.
