Weston Housing Trust sets parameters for FY27 homeowner repair grants

Weston Housing Trust finalized FY27 parameters for homeowner repair grants and unanimously approved a letter of support for Drabbington Lodge's Historic Rehabilitation Tax Credits application. Trustees set the maximum annual grant at $20,000 per household for deed-restricted owners, with eligibility continuing at 120 percent of area median income and two annual application deadlines. The Trust adopted a new asset-measurement approach adding 2 percent of home equity to reported income.
Town Meeting voters approved $1 million in Community Preservation Act funds for two new affordable units at Brook School, advancing the Trust's development agenda. Votes on perc test funding for a potential 0 Hilltop Road development site and a Warren Avenue rent increase request are scheduled for June 3.
