Weston Education Enrichment Fund Committee approves $27K in grants and expenses. The WEEFC unanimously approved two grants totaling $5,922.56 for the high school, including funding for a forensic science project addressing a policy change restricting student camera phone use. Katie Daunis was appointed HalloWEEFC Event Chair with $20,000 authorized for event costs, and Jessie Grasshoff as Marketing Chair with $2,500.
The committee unanimously voted to add Laura Ayers and Katie Daunis to its board for 2026-2027, replacing departing members Michelle Raymond and Cassie Bordeau. WEEFC has raised $209,000 year-to-date with approximately $41,000 remaining for the fiscal year.
