WESTON — School Building Committee prepares for November feasibility study funding vote in Weston. The committee met virtually on August 27 to advance planning for a fall feasibility study vote, which must occur before year-end per Massachusetts School Building Authority requirements. Chair Ken Newberg noted an enrollment meeting with the MSBA is set for late September, with official building-project projections to be finalized then.
The district is expected to earn at least 1.6 percent state reimbursement from its maintenance and capital planning submission. The committee unanimously approved prior meeting minutes and deferred committee expansion decisions pending the November vote outcome.
