Weston Board Signs Boston Properties Deal, Sets January Expansion Vote

WESTON — November 14, 2025 — Weston Select Board signs Boston Properties Development Agreement amendment and finalizes January special election details. Town Manager Leon Gaumond summarized the November 13 meeting in a Select Board Rewind episode, reporting that the board signed the amendment tied to Article 6 of an earlier special town meeting warrant and set January 13, 2026 as the date for a special election asking voters whether to expand the board from three members to five. Polls will be open 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m., with in-person early voting running January 5 through January 9. The board also appointed Barbara Messonnier to the Board of Registrars and heard that the Weston Power Choice Program has saved ratepayers approximately $1.4 million since its launch.
