Weston Select Board Approves Sudbury Road Cell Site, Delays Loveline Decision

WESTON — November 16, 2025 — Weston Select Board approves Sudbury Road small cell installation and appoints Agricultural Commission member. The board, summarized by Town Manager Leon Goemond in a Select Board Rewind video for the November 25 meeting, approved the Sudbury Road small cell pole attachment without objection but continued the public hearing for a second installation on Loveline Road to January 13 at 7 p.m. Michael McCarthy was appointed to fill a vacancy on the Agricultural Commission. The board also endorsed Massachusetts Senate amendments to special legislation that would allow retired police officers to perform paid details in Weston. The meeting included a presentation from a Wayland resident on remote participation and voting at town meetings, which Goemond called "a fascinating discussion," and closed with an executive session on the Josiah Smith Tavern and the Zero Hobbs Brook property.
