Weston ZBA unanimously approves Oxbow Road generator special permit

WESTON — June 13, 2022 — Weston ZBA approves generator permit at 41 Oxbow Road with a documentation condition. The Zoning Board of Appeals voted 3-0 at its June 13 remote meeting to grant a special permit to Jeffrey Ziba for a residential standby generator at 41 Oxbow Road, map 58, parcel 20. Board member Steve Wilrock pressed for firm setback measurements before the vote, saying he wanted "something in the file" so anyone reviewing the record could confirm the generator is placed within the proper setback. The permit was approved substantially as shown on the February 24, 2022 plan as hand-revised June 8, with Ziba required to deliver a dimensioned drawing to board staff by the end of the week. Members Alan Rose, Natalie Sawyer, and Wilrock all voted in favor.
