WESTON — September 14, 2021 — Weston ZBA continues 5 Warren Place special permit hearing to Dec. 7. The board voted unanimously Tuesday to extend the hearing for an addition at 5 Warren Place (Map 26, Parcel 41) after applicant representative Sian Khan, appearing for owner Mohammed Aram, missed a Sept. 8 deadline for revised documents. Khan told members he had lost contact with his original surveyor and would need roughly two months to resurvey the property and clear Conservation Commission review. "It's very hard right now to get a hold of surveyors," Khan said. Acting Chair Steve LaRock, joined by members Natalie Sawyer and Sujit Sitole, set a Nov. 29 submission deadline and a Dec. 7 hearing date, with Zoning Administrator Valerie Gehry directed to send Khan a waiver of the board's statutory time to act. "I would prefer not to have to go through this exercise again," LaRock said.
