Weston ZBA continues 44 Nonesuch Road special permit hearing to Oct. 22

WESTON — October 2, 2024 — Weston ZBA postpones 44 Nonesuch Road special permit hearing to Oct. 22 over missing paperwork. The board voted 3-0 to continue the hearing after applicant John Hansen confirmed his civil engineers were still trading revisions with town reviewer Richard Sweeney on a stormwater permit amendment and had not yet forwarded the Conservation Commission's amended order of conditions. Member Jane Fisher Carlson, chairing in place of Chair Stephen J. Larocque, told Hansen the board's rules require materials two weeks in advance and that "a couple of days just doesn't hack it." Larocque said the board would not act without complete documents in hand: "I don't want to say, well, let's approve based on Richard Sweeney coming in at some later point." Associate Member Laura Mintz, joining from out of town, cast the third yes vote. The Oct. 22 session is scheduled for 6 p.m. via Zoom and will walk the drawings end to end.
