Town Manager Leon Gaumond, recapping two Feb. 26 meetings on Select Board Rewind, said working group Chair Tom Palmer proposed dividing the third warrant article into two motions — one for roughly $2 million to finish design, a second for the full design-and-construction appropriation — and that the board "was agreeable to split up the article." The board also extended the owner's project manager RFP response window by about two weeks. In the evening session, Gaumond reported the town's MBTA 3A housing action plan has been approved by the Commonwealth, the board accepted the finance director's FY26 senior tax deferral recommendations, and Palmer was named liaison to the DPW director search following Tom Cullen's resignation.
