Weston Finance Committee Interviews Four Candidates for Open Advisory Seat

WESTON — November 9, 2022 — Weston Finance Committee interviews four candidates for a mid-term vacancy on the nine-member advisory body. Chair Lisa Raytano presided over structured questioning of Sean Edwards, a financial advisor and recent transplant from Columbus, Ohio; Rick Enfield, a CPA and State Street software executive who has lived in Weston since 1994; Diana Chaplin, a 27-year local real estate agent and lifelong Weston resident; and Zachary Sadek, a private equity professional who cited service on roughly 20 corporate boards overseeing combined budgets exceeding $1 billion annually and prior involvement with Combuys, the Massachusetts statewide procurement platform. No appointment vote was held; the committee will convene a separate meeting to deliberate and vote. The open seat covers only the remainder of the current budget cycle, with the appointee immediately facing weekly Finance Committee sessions running from mid-January through the end of March 2023.
