WESTON — The Permanent Building Committee reviewed updates on six municipal capital projects and unanimously approved the prior meeting minutes. John Marzec reported that Memorial Pool Renovations bid documents are being assembled under Chapter 149, with contractor selection needed to meet the 2026 season opening. James N.
Polando reported the Fire Department Feasibility and Needs Study has been submitted to the Select Board for discussion at the February 10 meeting. The committee also heard updates on the Brook School Apartments site walk, the High School/Middle School Campus Master Plan with potential Massachusetts School Building Authority funding, High School Field #1 lighting proposal from Activitas Inc., and confirmation that Chapter 149 does not apply to the Wood's Restaurant build-out.
