Building Committee advances fire station design, updates capital projects

WESTON — Building Committee unanimously approves prior minutes, advances fire station design work toward completion. Chair James N. Polando reported fee proposals have been received from Tecton (architects) and Vertex (project manager) for the fire department feasibility study, targeting design completion before the 2027 annual town meeting.
The High School/Middle School Campus Master Plan Committee held its first meeting March 19, pursuing Massachusetts School Building Authority funding for fall 2026 submission. The Memorial Pool renovation project has been delayed to fall 2026 due to variable frequency drive delivery delays.
