Weston Permanent Building Committee targets spring 2027 for Fire Department renovation construction bids. Committee Chair James N. Polando told the Select Board the committee will proceed with the Fire Department project as scheduled; architect Tecton and Owner's Project Manager Vertex can meet the 2027 timeline with pricing amendments to their existing contracts.
Select Board member Al Adeleyotte will serve on the project working group. The committee also advanced five concurrent projects: Brook School Apartments (contractor awarded), High School/Middle School Master Plan (liaisons designated), High School Field #1 Lighting (Activitas contract signed, geotechnical survey underway), Memorial Pool (repairs completed, pump replacement planned for fall), and Wood's Restaurant (design comments submitted, three-week resubmission expected).
