Permanent Building Committee approves Brook School apartments site survey

Weston's Permanent Building Committee approved a $5,115 site survey for Brook School Apartments to determine ground floor elevation feasibility. Committee Chair James N. Polando and members also approved consultant work for Memorial Pool renovations.
Members learned that approximately 132 windows at Brook School Apartments require replacement at an estimated cost of $750,000, which they directed to the Elderly Housing Committee for guidance. The Fire Department Needs Study final report is scheduled for Select Board presentation on January 13.
