COA Housing Committee approves prior minutes, discusses senior housing developments.

WESTON — The Board of the Council on Aging Housing Committee unanimously approved December minutes and reviewed senior housing developments across Weston. Vida Goldstein, Associate, reported that Riverside will hold community meetings, two properties remain under appeal, the Biogen site is beginning development, and Habitat for Housing is completing permitting and funding. HYM's proposed Continuing Care Retirement Community at the Regis property includes 15 cottages, independent living, assisted living, and memory care units.
The Boston Post Road development will open for tours in spring to early summer, and Alan Day proposed an educational program to help homeowners understand the financial implications of selling properties to the town for affordable housing.
