Weston ZBA continues 518 South Ave. 40B hearing to Jan. 18

WESTON — December 20, 2021 — Weston ZBA continues 518 South Ave. 40B hearing to Jan. 18, water issues first. The board voted 3-0 Monday to continue the comprehensive permit hearing on 518 South Avenue LLC's 200-unit rental proposal — 50 percent affordable, on roughly 9.54 acres — to 7 p.m. Jan. 18 via Zoom. Chair Jane Carlson reordered topics after abutters' attorney Dennis Murphy of Hill Law said his Cube 3 architect and landscape architect were unavailable that night; groundwater, stormwater and wetlands will go first, with architecture, landscaping and traffic deferred. Murphy said abutters' groundwater-mounding expert Michael Mobile is expected to submit analysis "within the next two weeks and possibly by the end of the year." Peer-review materials are due to the board by Jan. 12. Applicant's counsel Luke Legere of McGregor, Stevens and Legere confirmed traffic is off the Jan. 18 agenda.
