Weston Recreation Commission Approves CPA Funding for Burchard Park Playground

Weston Recreation Commission approves $50,000 CPA grant for Burchard Park playground. The project, proposed by Commissioner Jessica Catlin, would provide play space for children of various ages on the eastern side of the gravel parking lot, addressing a need identified in the town's Open Space and Recreation Plan. Weston Little League, which maintains the park, supported the motion, which passed unanimously.
The commission also unanimously approved summer 2026 Memorial Pool pricing and the FY27 budget, which includes a $15,000 irrigation appropriation the Town Manager directed after a request from the league.
