Weston Recreation Commission advances capital projects. Recreation Director Chris Fitzgerald presented a five-year capital plan at the June 11 meeting, updating commissioners on three initiatives: playground design through Weston & Sampson, field 1 lighting (bidding pushed to fall), and a dog park designer selection. The commission directed Fitzgerald to bring back proposals on group-reservation pricing for pickleball and tennis courts and revised cost estimates for daily bathroom access.
Commission member Nick Warren joined the dog park committee. The pool opened two days ahead of schedule.
