Weston Conservation Commission Continues West Cliff Road Hearing, Issues Three Compliance Certificates

WESTON — November 8, 2022 — Weston Conservation Commission issues three compliance certificates and continues West Cliff Road hearing. The commission voted 4-1 Tuesday to issue a full certificate of compliance for 95 Newton Street under the original file 337-1242, cross-referencing a newer DEP-superseded file 337-1373, with member Josh Feinbloom dissenting on procedural grounds, saying the mechanism was "incredibly improper." Two other certificates — a partial for 512 Glenn Road and a full certificate for 137 Sherburne Circle — passed without dissent. The panel continued a notice of intent hearing for 57 West Cliff Road, where applicant John McGeo of McGeo Custom Homes is seeking approval to raze and rebuild a single-family home with a pool and patio that encroach into the 100-foot wetland buffer zone; the hearing resumes November 29 pending revised stormwater, tree-removal, and landscaping plans reviewed by town engineer Richard Sweeney.
