Sustainability Committee charts Climate Action Plan update for FY27 priorities

WESTON — Sustainability Committee to examine all 57 Climate Action Plan elements for FY27 priorities. Sandy Kendall and Sustainability Assistant Libby Lichter will lead the review during May and June meetings, with recommendations for one or two priorities to present to the Select Board in July. Facilities Director John Marzec noted rising energy costs potentially tied to renewable energy credit purchases.
The committee also received updates on Weston Power Choice's plan to present renewable energy options to the Select Board on May 12.
