Historical Commission continues two hearings after late agenda posting
WESTON — May 26, 2020 — Weston Historical Commission scraps May 26 meeting over Open Meeting Law posting violation. Co-Chair Phyllis Halpern opened the Zoom session only to announce the agenda had not been posted in time, and members voted to continue both noticed public hearings — preliminary demolition reviews for 770 Boston Post Road and 271 Glen Street — to 7 p.m. Wednesday, May 27. "I move that we continue the meeting and the discussions of 770 Boston Post Road and 271 Glen Street until tomorrow," a member said, naming each item for the record. Roll-call votes on the continuance and adjournment passed 4-0, with members Steve Wagner, Henry S. Stone, Jr., Kathryn Scadden and Halpern voting yes. Halpern said she had notified the owner of 770 Boston Post Road of the delay.
