WESTON — Council on Aging Board unanimously approved prior minutes at its February hybrid meeting. Director Stephanie Keane reported January participation declined from the prior year, though the 2025 Annual Report showed slightly better overall statistics than 2024; a pending COA survey has received 95 responses with a February 28 deadline. The board discussed commissioning a new needs assessment study, with UMass representatives proposing a ten-month evaluation costing 40 thousand dollars; next steps include reviewing survey results and inviting UMass to an April or May meeting.
Transportation Director Frank retires March 31; replacement driver Jeanie Clark started February 17.
