WESTON — October 6, 2020 — Weston Conservation Commission clears three projects but cannot find a peer reviewer for Hanover Weston. The commission approved notices of intent 6-0 for 52 Gun Club Lane (a paved driveway with 1,370 square feet of pavement in the 100-foot buffer), 154 Winter Street (a patio expansion, native plantings and a rare wetland-edge safety fence around a pond 15 feet from the house) and 71 Concord Road (an after-the-fact septic system and relocated garage). The 540 South Avenue Hanover Weston hearing was continued to Oct. 20 after seven solicited engineering firms either declined or did not respond to a peer-review request for quotes; McClure Engineering expressed late interest. "This is the most important thing we're doing right now," said applicant attorney Jim Ward. Administrator Michelle also confirmed the fire department agreed to a 14-foot access-road width for the first 280 feet of the development site.
