Conservation Commission issues order for Weston Corporate Center amenities

WESTON — February 25, 2025 — Weston Conservation Commission approves Boston Post Road amenity project and continues Glen Road home review. The commission voted 4-0 Tuesday to close the hearing and issue an order of conditions for amenity renovations at the Weston Corporate Center, 133 Boston Post Road, where VHB wetland scientist Scott Morrison proposed pickleball courts, patios, a biofiltration stormwater basin discharging to the quarry pond, and 1,041 square feet of riverfront-area mitigation plantings along a perennial stream. Two certificates of compliance also passed unanimously — closing out a 1999 order at 596 Boston Post Road that required offsite disposal of roughly 490 cubic yards of petroleum-contaminated soil, and an August 2023 order at 120 Radcliffe Road. The commission continued the 452 Glen Road notice of intent for a new three-bedroom home to March 11 after member Alison Fronk Barlow questioned proposed tree placements close to the house: "I just don't want them to have to come right back out," she said. Landscape designer Angela Kearney said 48 healthy trees would come down and 69 new ones would be planted.
