Conservation Commission · Meeting of September 1, 2026

Weston Conservation Commission conditions a Glen Road patio on wetland cleanup, advances a town land study. The board voted 6-0 four times Tuesday: continuing a stalled 6 Page Road septic and addition hearing to September 29, issuing a partial certificate of compliance for 452 Glen Road, closing a long-dormant 2019 permit at 416 Conant Road, and approving a negative determination for a 520 Glen Road patio contingent on removing grass clippings from a wetland and halting nearby mowing. Consultant Peter Bemis represented the 520 Glen Road owners; Conservation Administrator Jordan McCarron called the compliance gap at Conant Road "a data thing" tied to a narrow WPA Form 8A request.

McCarron also told the board a LandVest appraisal of 819 Boston Post Road, a potential town land purchase, came in at $6,400, far under the roughly $20,000 requested from the Community Preservation Committee, with a placeholder funding request headed to Fall Town Meeting.
