Weston Conservation Commission approves extended cleanup permit for summer oil spill. The commission unanimously extended an emergency certification for remediation of a non-PCB mineral oil spill that released approximately 25 gallons into Dell Brook on July 7, with work now authorized through December 31, 2026. The spill, from a damaged transformer at 0 Summer Street, flowed into a tributary to the Stony Brook Reservoir during a summer storm.
