WESTON — Board of Assessors releases $300,000 from overlay reserve. The Weston Board of Assessors unanimously voted March 10 to transfer $300,000 from the fiscal year 2024 overlay account to overlay surplus after reviewing multi-year account financial data. Principal Assessor Eric R.
Josephson presented information on account balances, expenditures, litigation exposure, and uncollected taxes. The board also approved February 10 prior meeting minutes and reviewed three pending fiscal year 2026 abatement applications from 17 Fields Pond Road, 91 Kings Grant Road, and 54 Westerly Road.
