Weston ZBA Continues Habitat 40B Hearing, Sets April 19 Date for Final Items
WESTON — March 22, 2023 — Weston ZBA continues Habitat for Humanity 40B hearing to April 19, citing three unresolved items. The Zoning Board of Appeals voted unanimously at its March 22 Zoom session to carry the comprehensive permit hearing for a six-unit affordable housing development at 1-11 Wellesley Street to noon on April 19, 2023, after receiving satisfactory fire department and traffic reviews but identifying outstanding information still needed before deliberations can begin. Chair Jane Fisher Carlson said the board still awaits a landscape review from Planning Board consultant Kim Turner, an updated stormwater operations and maintenance plan, and a construction management plan addressing truck routing and construction-hour restrictions. Town Counsel George Pucci of KPE Law advised the board to retain the scenic road and stormwater bylaw waivers on the revised waiver list and to incorporate stormwater engineer Richard Sweeney's permit conditions directly into the comprehensive permit. The project would place six affordable units on approximately 3.17 acres under Massachusetts General Law Chapter 40B.
