Weston Select Board approves fire station working group charge, names three members

WESTON — December 8, 2023 — Weston Select Board seats fire station working group and approves its formal charge. Meeting in a hybrid session on December 8, the three-member board — Chair Lise N. Revers and members Tom Palmer and Chris Houston — voted unanimously to adopt the working group's charge and to appoint Steve Larock, an architect and Zoning Board of Appeals member; Kevin Sullivan, an architect specializing in large educational construction projects; and Carl Steinfeld, a venture capitalist and MIT-trained engineer who previously served on the town's police station study committee. Palmer and a Finance Committee designee identified as Baroth are expected to serve as initial co-chairs. One vacancy remains on the four-seat panel, with Revers noting that no women had been appointed and that two suggestions for female members had not been advanced.
