Planning Board continues Merriam Street zoning hearings to March 25

WESTON — March 18, 2020 — Weston Planning Board punts Merriam Street zoning amendment and 255 Merriam Street concept plan one week. In a seven-minute remote meeting March 18, the board voted unanimously to continue both public hearings to March 25 so consultant comments could first be shared with the applicant and abutters. Chair Alicia Primer, joined by members Sue Zacharias and Steve Oppenheimer, approved the continuance on a roll call. Staffer Katie Lockman said she would walk the applicant through the written comments and arrange a separate neighborhood Zoom before the next hearing. "We don't want everyone to be seeing them suddenly at that time," Primer said. Primer called the session "a record time" before adjourning.
