Weston traffic committee votes to add No Parking signage on two roads

WESTON — Traffic committee votes to restrict parking on Cherry Brook and Hillcrest roads. The Weston Traffic and Sidewalk Committee voted unanimously to recommend No Parking signage on Cherry Brook Road at the municipal field (north side east of Pollywog Lane and south side west of Pollywog Lane) and on Hillcrest Road, approximately 74 feet from the driveway at 17 Hillcrest Road toward the south. Chair Jay Doyle moved the recommendations; Captain Kelly of the Weston Police emphasized that the Hillcrest Road safety concerns have been under discussion for well over a year.
The committee also voted unanimously to request that Jason Lavoie, Director of Public Works, draft a memo to the Select Board recommending that the Wellesley Street crosswalk at Maple and Meadowbrook be repainted in a ladder design.
