Weston Select Board declines immediate acceptance of historic train station gift

WESTON — March 12, 2025 — Weston Select Board hesitates on train station gift, citing liability. Town Manager Leon Gaumond's March 12 recap reported that Attorney Leonard Zeid offered to donate the deteriorating 55 Church Street train station to the town, but the board raised "grave concerns" about taxpayer liability and floated a friends-group alternative.
