WESTON — September 12, 2017 — Weston Historical Commission approves two CPC applications and clears demolition delay at its September 12 meeting. The commission voted unanimously to submit a Community Preservation Committee application seeking $63,000 for the repair of two 19th-century cattle passes along the planned rail trail corridor, with member Steve Wagner arguing the timing was critical: "This is a once in a lifetime chance to do it and then they're gone forever." A second unanimous vote authorized a $205,000 CPC application for Phase 2 of the central cemetery restoration project, covering condition assessment updates, headstone conservation, and project management.
