Select Board approves common victualer's license for Heirloom Restaurant in Weston Center

WESTON — February 2, 2022 — Weston Select Board greenlights Heirloom Restaurant in former Bruegger's space. The board voted unanimously Wednesday to grant a 2022 common victualer's license under MGL Chapter 140, Section 21E to Weston Breakfast LLC, doing business as Heirloom, at 31 Center Street, and to acknowledge the owners' BYOB notification pending remaining sign-offs from the Board of Health, Fire, Police and DPW. Owners Nadia and Kyle Spellman, who also run next-door Dumpling Daughter, plan a breakfast-and-lunch concept open roughly 7 a.m. to 3 p.m., with no current dinner plans. "We're paying our respects to the generations before us," Nadia Spellman said of the restaurant's name. Member Lori called the project "wonderful." Town Manager Leon said the approval would let Heirloom open immediately once department sign-offs are returned.
