Conservation Commission approves Wellington Farm restriction draft for state review

WESTON — January 18, 2022 — Weston Conservation Commission approves Wellington Farm CR draft and clears three permits. The commission voted 4-0 to authorize Weston Forest and Trail Association to submit the draft Wellington Farm Conservation Restriction to the state for review, after presenter Emily walked through six revisions addressing November questions on natural-disaster liability, septic systems, stream debris removal and dog walking. Joel Angelilo presented a plan to resume mowing roughly one-third of a 2.12-acre WFTA parcel behind 263 South Ave., directed to file a request for determination. The commission closed a notice of intent for a new six-bedroom house at 97 Bogle St., touching 460 of approximately 15,000 square feet of riverfront. A 51 Cedar Rd. notice of intent closed with a special condition that the applicant return for any substantive stormwater revisions; member Josh abstained under the Mullin rule, making the vote 3-0-1. The commission will open its first substantive discussion of a proposed local wetlands bylaw Feb. 1, with the Annual Town Meeting warrant article due March 3.
