Zoning Board of Appeals · Meeting of April 13, 2026
Weston Zoning Board approves stone wall modification for North Avenue project. The board voted 2-1 to allow a modification to a 2017 Comprehensive Permit for the 16-unit 40B housing project at 269 North Avenue, approving replacement of a front stone wall conditioned on consultation with the town planner regarding wall height between 24 and 30 inches. The developer withdrew its request for an amendment permitting on-site blasting, proposing instead drilling and hammering to remove ledge for septic installation.
The board determined the replacement wall must be located on the developer's property rather than within the town's right-of-way.
