Weston School Committee unanimously approves $51.4M FY27 operating budget with 3.95% increase. Ms. Daina Selvig moved approval of Superintendent Dr.
Karen Zaleski's $51,361,325 budget, with all five members voting aye. The measure advances to the Finance Committee in late March and to town meeting in May. The committee also unanimously approved a consent agenda that included the eighth-grade Washington, D.C. field trip and the superintendent's request to rollover five vacation days.
Financial Director Dave Coelho reported a projected $535,000 surplus based on second-quarter results.
