Weston Planning Board defers Love Lane vote, continues Corwood recertification
WESTON — January 9, 2019 — Weston Planning Board defers Love Lane flexible subdivision vote, continues Corwood recertification to February 27. The board spent the bulk of its January 9 meeting working line by line through preservation guidelines for a historically significant flexible subdivision at 98 Love Lane, settling on site plan approval — rather than a special permit — for demolition of the property's non-original north wing, and adding conditions prohibiting any expansion of the existing irrigation system and requiring disconnection of the sprinkler line serving the already-sold adjacent lot. The final vote was deferred to January 23 pending the signed and recorded execution of a voluntary two-lot deed restriction. For 73 Corwood Road, a 2011 flexible subdivision approval that lapsed without construction, the board ordered a site walk and parallel Conservation Commission and Board of Health filings before any recertification, after abutters raised stormwater, vegetation screening, and construction-access compliance concerns. The board approved unanimously a scenic road permit for Concord Road at the Mass Central Rail Trail, a five-tree removal at 49 Hubbard Road, and a fence-and-screening amendment for Two Fields Pond Road.
