WESTON — September 4, 2019 — Weston Planning Board approves Love Lane site plan and flags scenic road loophole fix for town meeting. The board unanimously approved the site plan certificate of action for 96 Love Lane — described by members as their tenth review session on the property — after a detailed line-by-line corrections session that addressed lumen caps, ridge height language, and a partially non-compliant concrete retaining wall accepted because it faces a rear patio and is not visible from the street. A proposed zoning bylaw amendment aimed at closing a so-called spike-strip loophole, in which owners slice narrow parcels off a lot to avoid scenic road review, cleared its public hearing without a vote; a board recommendation is set for September 18, with a final decision at the December 3 town meeting.
