Weston Education Enrichment Fund approves $75,624 in grants for piano and translation services. The WEEFC Board unanimously approved both grants in a single vote: one for a grand piano in the high school auditorium and one for real-time translation services using AirPods and iPads. Director of Student Services Martha Bakken explained the translation grant addresses needs for 66 English language learners and their families, with the real-time translation enabling teachers to build trust with students in their native language during classroom and family communications.

Treasurer Cassie Bordeau reported that year-to-date net proceeds reached $206,000 after the March fundraising appeal, with total grants approved this year at $153,000.
