Weston education enrichment fund approves $2,000 author visit grant, targets piano fundraising. The Weston Education Enrichment Fund Committee approved a $2,000 grant for Loree Griffin Burns' Second Grade Author Visit to Country and Woodland Schools, with WEEFC member Jessie Chan abstaining. The board declined to vote on a grand piano grant for the high school auditorium today, instead setting a $65,000 fundraising target for a March appeal.

Treasurer Cassie Bordeau reported $137,000 in year-to-date proceeds, with $66,000 already approved in grants.
