Weston Select Board sets special town meeting for November 23. The board, chaired by John F. McDonald with Clerk Alfred L.
Aydelott, Members Rebecca J. Mercuri, Anupam Sachdev, and Lise N. Revers all voting affirmatively, selected the latest available date from three options to allow additional preparation time.
Chair McDonald emphasized the board's focus on managing town costs during the 2026-2027 priority-setting session, citing projected capital costs and potential tax increases of 60 to 80 percent. The board unanimously appointed Katherine Diver to the Traffic and Sidewalk Committee for a two-year term expiring June 30, 2028, and voted to request that the School Building Committee consider McDonald as a second Select Board member.
