Weston School Committee ratifies two labor agreements through 2029. Chair Daina Selvig led the Committee to unanimous approval of a Memorandum of Agreement with the Weston Educators Association establishing cost-of-living adjustments of 2.75 percent in fiscal year 2027, 3.5 percent in fiscal year 2028, and 3.25 percent in fiscal year 2029, along with revisions to parental leave, retirement benefits, and classroom preparation time. The Committee also unanimously ratified a collective bargaining agreement with the Weston School Bus Drivers Association covering July 1, 2025 through June 30, 2029, which includes revised wages, increased morning bus monitor compensation, phased vacation increases, and a new attendance bonus.
Both agreements lock in labor costs through June 30, 2029.
