Weston School Committee advances assistant superintendent hiring process. The committee unanimously approved the hiring plan for an Assistant Superintendent of Teaching and Learning on Monday, with Dr. Karen Zaleski advising three to five finalists are expected.
In other business, the committee ratified three Memorandums of Agreement with staff unions covering secondary schedule changes, an Assistant Athletics Director position, and Human Resources and Payroll Specialists positions; accepted a $2,800 donation in honor of Alexander Nguyen; and approved the 2025 Town Report as amended. The committee will vote on the Superintendent's final FY27 budget recommendation at its March 10 meeting.
