WESTON — Planning Board restructures leadership and addresses town department involvement. The Planning Board designated Alex Selvig as Vice Chair and scheduled a formal May election for Chair, responding to member concerns about workload distribution. Chair Leslie Glynn noted that current Vice Chair Timothy Shawn Lanier has other commitments.

The board reviewed Town Counsel Lauren Goldberg's guidance that Department of Public Works negotiations for a drainage easement at 35 Bemis Street should not influence site plan decisions. Members discussed the ethics of town agencies facilitating private applications and agreed to remain vigilant regarding any behind-the-scenes arrangements between owners and town departments.
