Historical Commission · Meeting of March 10, 2026

Weston Historical Commission finds significant structures at 1891 Boston Post Road property. The Commission voted unanimously to find the circa-1891 Italianate and Queen Anne house and barn at 669 Boston Post Road historically significant and scheduled a public hearing for April 7, 2026. Owners Barbara and William Rowe have sought demolition approval; Commission members suggested modifications might improve marketability.

The Commission also cleared two other properties without delay: 265 Glen Road for additions and window replacements, and 26 Love Lane for window replacements, after finding both applicants had addressed previous concerns. The Commission endorsed the Tree Advisory Group's Town Green Rehabilitation Phase 1 project, which would fund restoration of approximately 40 percent of trees in a design plan.
