Four affordable housing projects progress in Weston

WESTON — Elderly Housing Committee updates agenda on four development projects. The committee reviewed progress on the Regis College project (220 units pending zoning approval), Millcreek occupancy beginning via lottery system, Habitat for Humanity expansion adding six units, and Drabbington Lodge with 17 units (four affordable at 80% AMI). At Brook School Apartments, property manager Monyette Vickers reported two market vacancies and noted that Building D's elevator will have final repairs in September.
Residents raised concerns about Building D ventilation and potential mold issues, with the committee pledging to advocate with the town's facilities department for upgrades.
